Grenfell Tower disaster picture story
The Grenfell fire on June 14th 2017 shook the country and left 72 dead and hundreds of others without a home. An ongoing inquiry seeks the answers to why something like this could happen in suburban west-London. See these rare Slingshot-exclusive photos documenting the first morning of the Grenfell tower fire, taken by local resident Satish Pujji.
Brexit is right around the corner, and Slingshot has taken a look at one of the more peculiar movements protesting (or rather barking) against leaving the EU - Wooferendum. Here is a selection of the campaign's best offical photography:

Slingshot Magazine documented an entirely Drag King line-up at the Vault Festival, one of London’s biggest arts festivals running between 23 Jan – 17 Mar 2019 in the underground area near Waterloo Station in Central London.

Stolen Sexuality: “Dunia” picture story
Dunia is a 2005 movie about an FGM victim who aims to become a belly dancer. The director Jacquelin Saab shows sensuality through symmetry, harmonic colour range and high-quality aesthetics.
